After reading Flexnib’s post about Bibliotheque Bound’s post, I’ve decided to add this post to the posticle about work desks. I have a work desk (or at least part of one). It contains a computer (a laptop) as well as several removable hard-drives, and a multi-functional laser printer.
Today marks the fifth anniversary of my return to Singapore. A few years ago, I had some medical issues, and I had to return to Australia. It was supposed to be for only a short period, but there were complications with my treatment and I ended up staying there for way too long. So, it was a joy to finally return.
I’ve just spent the last few days moving my web server. If you haven’t noticed any difference, then that’s good. However, if you notice some issues then please drop a comment and tell me, so I can fix it ASAP.
As usual for this time of year, there is a lot of discussion about changing the date for Australia Day. There are many reasons for doing so (which I won’t entertain here), but no clear alternative date. Here is a sketch I recently posted to Mastodon about the issues of choosing 9th May as Australia Day.
